The 2026 Season at Curtain Call Theatre starts off with The Glass Menagerie, the play that made Tennessee Williams famous.
The Glass Menagerie is Tennessee Williams’ tender, haunting memory play about family, longing, and the fragile beauty of hope. In a cramped St. Louis apartment during the Great Depression, a restless son, an anxious mother, and a painfully shy daughter cling to dreams that may—or may not—save them.
Lyrical, intimate, and deeply human, this American classic comes to life at Curtain Call Theatre in Monte Rio, inviting audiences into a world where love and illusion collide.
No modern play has captured the imagination and heart of the American public as Tennessee Williams’s The Glass Menagerie. it launched the brilliant career, of our pre-eminent lyric playwright. It is studied in classrooms and performed in theatres around the world.
The Glass Menagerie by Tennessee Williams is directed by Michael Tabib.
