Nestled in picturesque Monte Rio, Russian River Hall is home to Curtain Call Theatre, a volunteer organization bringing performances to the Northern Sonoma County community. Their inspiration this season is Dancing at Lughnasa, a recent award winning play set in rural Ireland. Director Michael Tabib creates a traditional, formal staging.
Rustic, idealized set design by Jake Hamlin, Michael Tabib, and Dax Berg is a charming foundation for a gentle glimpse into Michael Mundy’s memories.

Imagination Lane Reviews
What a great venue for a party. We booked The Hall for my daughter’s 40th birthday. Michael and Dennis were great about letting us in to get the decorating done. The Hall was perfect. We had a live band, great food, and lots of room for dancing! A GREAT time was had by all.

Hot Curtain Revue, Sonoma County’s longest performing Improvisational troupe consisting of Scott and Darlene Kersnar, Susan Packer, Frank Ferris, Michelle Jensen, Steven Page and pianist Steve Pryputniwicz have performed several times at The Hall in Monte Rio. “We love the facility, and the ease with which we can move in and set up for our performances”. Hopefully there will be many more shows at The Hall.
Theatre Flamenco of San Francisco, founded in 1966, is the oldest Flamenco company in the United States. Throughout the last 25 years, they have developed dramatic and modern interpretations for the Flamenco dance. “It was a great experience to perform at The HALL. The facility is warm and the accoustics have a soft rounded sound effect. The lighting designer was accommodating and great to work with”. We look forward to our next performance there.
