The Beauty Queen of Leenane by Martin McDonogh is an allegory of love, hate, and manipulation, leading to tragic consequences. It is laced with dark humor, and sardonic repartee, much in the tradition of many great Irish plays.
Many of you may recall that early this year, Mr. McDonough was nominated for his screenplay The Banshees of Inisherin, and the film had already received many International film awards across the Globe.
