An odd-couple dramedy.

Grace and Glorie by Tom Zeigler, looks at grief and loss with both tenderness and humor.

Grace, a 90-year-old cancer patient, checks herself out of hospital to return to her country cabin to die peacefully alone, only to discover that the developer who bought her farm (with the understanding that she could live there till she dies) has already begun clearing the land.  Glorie, a novice hospice volunteer with an MBA, carrying her own burden of profound loss, arrives determined to ‘help’ Grace die.  Grace can’t quite believe someone would want the job that Gloria is doing for free and Glorie is not so sure herself.  But the unrelenting destruction of Grace’s homestead demands a unified reaction, so a heart-opening bond begins to form.  Sharing their strength as well as their pain, each gains the courage to accept the undeniable and becomes a genuine comfort for the other.
